Though Sunday still means worship and family time for millions of Americans, today it also means things it once didn't -- 12-packs of Bud, the NFL on TV, catching up with the week's accumulated errands, picking up some CDs at Best Buy, moving through a 24/7 culture. (AP)<p>***The NFL has been televised on Sundays for more than 45 years. It's true that in the hazy, distant past you had to buy two six-packs of Bud to get 12 cans.***

You must not have lived anywhere with blue laws. I remember whole parts of stores being roped off on Sundays.

I'm not denying the existence of blue laws. I'm pointing out that AP chose bad examples.
