I share your disgust of false ranges. But how do we keep writers from writing them? Why don't they understand that "everything from deep-fried Oreos to low-carb burgers" includes excrement popsicles?

Hack into the newsroom's computer system and take the word "everything" out of the spell-check dictionary.
