Joined: Fri Nov 15, 2002 1:01 am Posts: 3557 Location: Cusp of retirement, grave or both	I had to have a periodontal procedure that was very expensive and was not covered by our insurance, so I bought a used dental textbook and a couple tools and did it myself.<p>It did, indeed, hurt without anesthesia.
