Less than a year, error. More than a year, history plus dementia, and how is the Times supposed to look it up, anyway? [Hat tip: Jim Romenesko.] I went to the Times site and typed "John Lynch Barton Fink" into the Search bar. Found this in the first result:

Someone should tell the aptly named Zach Johnk. Heirs of Walter Duranty and Robert Peary can now breathe a sigh of relief.
