The ombud at the Times 'splains to the fossils how to read the online paper, known as the "Web site." ["Alas, there is no booklet" of instructions.] Start at the homepage, then thrash about by following the various tabs. It may be "a less structured experience," but potentially a "richer" experience. Bonus: The editorial page editor, discussing editorials: "We did some research recently that showed us that people don't generally know what an editorial is, or who writes them." Followed by a useful exegesis on what an editorial is. |
