A SYDNEY Morning Herald reporter will face court next month after he allegedly pulled a gun on another journalist after an argument at in inner-city pub early yesterday.
Stephen Gibbs, 34, of Redfern, was charged with one count of assault and one of possessing a prohibited firearm after turning himself into police yesterday afternoon.
He was granted conditional bail and ordered to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on August 14.
Gibbs, who writes about police and crime for the Herald, allegedly threatened Daily Telegraph sub-editor Steven Jackson, 25, with a silver revolver outside the Evening Star Hotel, in Surry Hills, about 5am.
