This from the Australian Financial Review (with thanks to Fairfax Information Services) Journalist Ross Dunn, 49, who reported for The AFR from Canberra, South Africa and the Middle East, died in Sydney yesterday after an extended illness. He was a cadet journalist on The SMH in 1981 and quickly made his name as a political reporter in Sydney and Canberra. He reported from Jerusalem until last year. His work had a global audience through his reporting for The Times of London, the Christian Science Monitor and other international outlets. Mr Dunn is survived by his wife and two children. |
