| Post subject: | Real estate agents |
There comes a point where pride can't be put aside and we bloody all need our head shots in the paper so the people know the truth. I had some agent boast about how much her vendors loved their half-page editorial write up in our weekly real estate section. They asked the agent how the story ended up sounding so comprehensive and impressive and she replied ``because I supplied it like that to the {our paper}''. I pen ever god damn line in that section but because it's pseudo advertising, I don't get a by-line and the public think their agents and F***K journalists too. |

One time somebody brought the story of their daughter's slumber party into the paper and I cautioned her that it probably wouldn't appear as she wrote it. She said angrily, "If I had known you weren't going to print what I wrote I wouldn't have brought it in." <p>And I remained silent. <p>I agree, we need those head shots. |
