From a CBS Sportsline online assessment of the trades in baseball: Lofton, the 40-year-old outfielder, was a five-time All-Star in nine seasons in Cleveland and will return to the Indians for a third time. So as I read that, this is the fourth time he's been with the Indians, since he's returning for the third time. Checking his career stats, though, we find out this is only his third tour of duty with the Indians. |
