My paper caught up with retired Seattle Mariner great Jay Buhner this weekend as he coached his son's team in a local youth baseball tournament. We asked him how he passed the days these days, and this was his response: Quote: "Fishing and enjoying life, and doing various endorsement work with whoever wants me to endorse their product."

Hey, watch it! Obviously, he has standards. He doesn't endorse products for which his endorsement isn't wanted. |

Wasn't being critical of Bone in the least. He truly is a Mariner great. Hope you didn't take me the wrong way. |

I think (hope) WJ was suggesting that Bone's accomplishments be viewed in the context of the "game" he plays. |
