I read today that Ozzie Guillen probably will start Kenny Rogers in the All-Star Game. I know he's 11-3, but he has a 3.85 ERA--17th best in the league. Who would you start? |

A lot has to do with who's in line to start. That would mean whoever starts today would normally be in line to start Tuesday. On the other hand, it doesn't matter all that much who starts, because he will go only two innings anyway. And even starters not in line to start on Tuesday could have their "throw days" scheduled for Tuesday, in which they could throw an All-Star inning instead of their usual side work. I'd pick Doc Halladay or Johan Santana. Too bad Francisco Liriano isn't on the staff. He is electric. |
