From a Baltimore Sun story on new Orioles outfielder Eric Byrnes:

The Orioles need an infusion of energy after losing 12 of 14 games, and Byrnes could hit them like a 12-pack of Jolt cola.

That's a pretty funny line. Twinkie-hitting Eric Byrnes has the metaphorical energy of a 12-pack of Jolt cola? I wonder, then, what kind of energy Reggie Jackson in his prime had? Bo Jackson? Dick Allen? Frank Thomas? Frank Howard? Don Baylor?
