Wait, wait, hold on just a minute -- you mean baseball players don't wear their uniforms all the time? They actually take them off? Pfffhhh. I'll never watch another game.

Actually, I thought it would have been rather funny to have the players appear in full uniforms, along with caps and cleats and eyeblack, carrying their equipment (a glove for Schilling, a bat or some such for the other players). Sort of SNL-ish. And when a Congressperson asked a question, a player could have leaned his head to the side, spat some of the chaw in his cheek, adjusted his cup and squinted a bit before answering.

Now that would have made the event worth watching.
