The swell thing about "could" [and "may"] headlines is that in our universe of infinite possibilities, anything may and could happen, so no one can ever call shenanigans on you for suggesting an outcome; and you'll look like a genius if the outcome occurs: Could Steinbrenner family sell Yankees? [Sports Illustrated] Let's see: The family owns the team, so the family could [and may] sell the team. Or not. |
