Can anyone help me? I am reading tomorrow's Dear Abby, in which a letter writer from Louisiana claims to be a student at a school with an inordinate amount of student deaths. This struck me as possibly fake, and some Google and Snopes searching yielded nothing. The writer claims it's a 1,400-student high school in a small town. Can anyone back up these claims or provide evidence of a hoax? I don't trust Abby one bit when it comes to veting for urban legends.

Go to google and type: "high school" suicides clusters.
It's startling.
Unless, of course, the deaths were from food poisoning and they would be better advised to call inthe public health department to inspect the cafeteria.

There are many deaths listed in the letter, from varying causes. Oddly, no suicides. It isn't overly implausible; it just raised my suspicion.
