While I haven't used the book myself, I did look through a book by Amy Einsohn that seemed to have a good overview and a variety of exercises. It's geared slightly toward academic publishing, but I would imagine the grammar translates.
The book can be found here on amazon.com.
[ June 05, 2004: Message edited by: Becca ]

Any good suggestions?

In addition to the quiz page on the ACES site, look at the Editing Booklet under Site Features for a compendium of sentences and stories from various newspaper applicant tests.
Mindy McAdams lists Web sites related to copy editing at http://www.well.com/user/mmcadams/ce2.html.
The copy desk resources page at No Train, No Gain also has some information that you may find useful: http://www.notrain-nogain.org/Train/Res/CopyD/COP.asp.
API and Poynter both offer resources for copy editors, if you rummage around their Web sites.
John McIntyre

There are a number of interactive grammar tests, some better than others, at http://cctc.commnet.edu/grammar/quiz_list.htm
Jen
