I am sure that this New york Times mea culpa will get plenty of attention. My question is, in the eyes of the public will editors now be seen as being as sleazy as reporters are seen by many members of the public?
I also found it interesting that the NY Times ran this "Editors´ note" AFTER running an editorial blasting the Bush Jr. Administration for being suckered by unreliable defectors. Something about glass houses...
