In the handout for my presentation at the recent ACES conference, I misattributed a handout used to help train copy editors at the Omaha World. Steve Buttry uses the handout, according to the Web site No Train, No Gain. A corrected version of the handout has been posted Praise of the "So close, so Favre" headline, incidentally, was from a tip sheet covering a broad range of headline-writing techniques.<p>[ March 22, 2004: Message edited by: blanp ]</p>
