This latest offender passed through our town years ago, i've been told, and was beloved by his upper-tier editors, of course, because he could crank out perfect copy with just the right colorful sources and quotes to die for, and he could do it fast.<p>which we all could do if we just made shit up.<p>i just love ol' Tacoma Dave's good news/bad news approach to this.<p>and i'm afraid, blanp, you should see someone soon for that cough. it's starting to sound bad. in addition to the separate baseball and cricket sections, we're going to have to create a whole nother wing for these liars, plagiarists and fabulists. as expected, more of them are being exposed more frequently. and they've been in the business a long time, and they've done stints at multiple papers. and we all know at least one staffer like this. and the fact that we let them get away with it for so long might be the ultimate downfall of the business.
