Apparently, more than a few newspapers have put out extra editions for Saddam's capture. I realize this is an important event, but I have trouble believing it stands alongside 9/11 or the Kennedy assassination as an event important enough to warrant the production of a separate edition. (Then again, considering some papers put out extras for the O.J. verdict, maybe it's not such a stretch after all.)

Well, we didn't put out an extra, and if we did it would be a waste of time since we are in the midst of a godawful blizzard.<p>I don't think an extra is overkill here. We have fought two wars with this guy. He's the most-wanted man in the world.

We had so much snow here today, I doubt many readers in Great Falls ventured out to pick up that extra edition. That's really mysterious....
