BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A team of blue-collar kids with crew cuts from a tiny Indiana school beat a powerhouse in the big tournament.
***I'm not Clark F. Kellogg or Billy F. Packer, but I know enough to note that Louisville is not a "powerhouse."***

I saw a fair number of buzzcuts (on both teams), but no crew cuts. And I wonder how many of the Butler players were actually blue-collar, and where did the writer get this nugget? Besides, weren't the kids in "Hoosiers" farming kids, not blue-collar kids?
Also, being a tiny school has nothing to do with athletic prowess. Duke and Notre Dame are also among the smallest Division I schools in terms of enrollment.
Crew Cut Buzz Cut
[ March 24, 2003: Message edited by: blanp ]
