USA	"The Green Mountains of Vermont are a north and south running chain of peaks that form the backbone of the state of Vermont. The average ridgeline is around 2,000', rising from a base of less than 1,000'. Five peaks - Mansfield, Camel's Hump, Ellen, Abraham, and Killington - rise above 4,000' above sea level. Mt. Mansfield, at 4,393', is the highest."

Joined: Fri Nov 15, 2002 1:01 am Posts: 3557 Location: Cusp of retirement, grave or both	Should have used "towering like the Bennington Battle Monument...." At a whopping 306 feet, it's the tallest building in Vermont.<p>Beautiful place, but nothing in Vermont is "towering."
