Cox News Service story out of Ohio:
Visitors streaming through the gate shortly after 2 p.m. reported hours-long backups on both interstates.
``We left Columbus at 9:30. We just got here,'' an angry Greg Sams of Columbus said at 2:30 p.m. ET as he strode through the gate. He said ``better than three hours'' of the trip was spent on the last three miles before turning north on I-75, where traffic was also backed up.
The long delays didn't sour everyone's mood, however.
****My mood is soured by the fact that people outside that area will have no idea how long the trip normally takes. Giving the 9:30 to 2:30 detail without that information is absurd, except in the local version of the story.
And points off for a truly half-assed transition graf. It actually has dampened my spirits to read this.
