When you link to the Star-News plagiarism update, check out the "three desk jobs, three overweight editors" promo ad about halfway down on the right side. I think we're on to something. The ad rotates with several other house ads, so it's not always there.

What an interesting second half to that column. A free submission to an advertorial section. <p>On the one hand, who cares about the advertising section? On the other, it's another example of putting out crap on the cheap and trying to create the illusion of being a real, full-service newspaper. <p>If only more "reporters" would work free!
