What's consensus these days: web site, Web site, or website?

I prefer "Web site".
Capitalization sets it apart from other kinds of webs, although the logic on that might be flawed as rarely in newspapers does "web" mean something other than the WWW kind.
Also, it smells like two words to me.
We have seven newspapers on one of my Web sites, and they don't agree on a style. Hell, even the biggest paper doesn't agree internally.

We use Web site. I'm not sure there's much of a consensus out there, though.

Web site here. And not to mention, it's in the latest AP Stylebook as Web site. Although it notes that it's an exception to Webster's.

I still go with Web site, officially, but if I'm goofing around and posting to my own site, I usually make it one word. Except when I don't.
It's probably turning into one word, it just seems to roll off the keyboard better that way.

Please refer to page 223 of "Lapsing Into a Comma" for why it's "Web site."
