The Copy Editor edits and occasionally fact-checks daily news files Monday through Friday, ensuring the stories' accuracy and making them adhere to the highest editorial standards. The files vary in length and generally contain 10 to 20 stories. ...

One notes that this is not a full-time nor an on-site job. Pajamas optional. I'd have to see a sample of copy to be sure, but I bet I could do the work quickly enough to earn more than my minimum freelance rate. Of course, I'm faster than most.

My immediate reaction is pretty much the same as Editer's. I would consider this a PT gig, and it might be a way for someone at a small paper to supplement their shitty pay from home...provided the workload is realistic and you can get it done in four hours or so.

Depends on the length. Given the intended audience I suspect they won't be very long. But I'd want to see them before committing.
