A daily newspaper in the Southeastern region of the United States is conducting a confidential search for a top-notch page designer. This newspaper is the dominant media outlet in its market. The successful applicant will have at least two years of professional newspaper design experience and be able to create compelling front pages and section fronts utilizing multiple entry points of type, images and graphics.

The "market" must be too small for a TV station.

"A confidential search" — for a page designer?? Sounds like the "lucky" successful applicant is about to replace someone who's about to get sacked. Not a situation that I would want to step into.

Can someone and replace him with a designer who has "at least two years" of experience!?!

I'm betting the guy who's on the outs makes too much money.
