This is from journalismjobs.com. Don't all rush out and apply, however -- here's what they're offering in exchange for all that angst and anger:

If this is true, why'd they even need to place the ad? There should be a host of Plan B's from last time around just waiting for a phone call.

I would guess that the bulk of the "local talent" within commuting distance of Waukesha would be at my alma mater, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, which appears to be the parent of whatever this paper is.

Seeing as that a copy editor at the J-S makes one hell of a lot more than $20,000, I suppose they won't be mining that particular pool of talent.

Sounds less like wealth of local talent and more like poverty of local employer.
