The "perfect job," from

Houston Community Newspapers is seeking someone who wants the perfect editor's job for a feature section that is distributed to more than 600,000 homes in the Houston metropolitan area. The right candidate will be someone who understands how to find (sometimes writing, sometimes assigning) great stories and photos in a city with more than 4 million people. More important, this person will know how to manage time, multiple stringers and, most of all, an events calendar. Experience as an editor isn't as important as someone who can demonstrate through a tough interview, the ability to handle multiple tasks.
How do I know this is bs? Let me count the ways.
1. No salary specified.
2. Stringers, not staff.
3. Knowing how to manage time isn't a substitute for having too much work to shoehorn into 40 hours. (The job
is a 40-hour job, right?)
4. Experience isn't important.
5. Relocation isn't mentioned. (Maybe the job is "perfect" if you've just been laid off at the Houston Chronicle?)
6. Not all editors dream of the features beat.
7. Interview sounds like a circus.
