I'm not a lawyer, but I think you are right. The employer is Turkish, but the help-wanted site is American. Legalities aside, this ad should have never been published.

The most interesting part of this is the comment that "obviously" this does not apply to the entertainment industry. I would be very interested to see how an exclusion for the entertainment industry would be written into such a state law. And now that many newspapers require reporters to appear in Web videos, are we part of this "entertainment industry?"
