From this posting:

Copy Editor/Designer

... snip ...

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 year’s experience as a writer and/or editor.
- 1-2 year's related design experience.
- Knows and follows AP style.
- Highly computer-literate with the ability to use and to "troubleshoot" professional desktop publishing software.
- Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Setting aside the apostrophes and the odd deviations from the imperative, how is a bachelor's degree a skill? Does the position involve bachelor's degreeing copy? Bachelor's degreeing pages, perhaps? Seems they're in more need of a copy editor than they realize.

"Knows and follows AP style." I thought religious beliefs were off the table.

They want a bachelor because you'll never get to see your family, perhaps.
