From Al's Morning Meeting, some happy news:

If you're one of the "tons of TV producers who have lost their jobs recently," never fear! Here's some "brighter news." If you're willing to relocate to Atlanta, you can join all the other unemployed producers in competing for five whole job openings at CNN! Sure, this news is completely anecdotal and has very little bearing on the overall jobs picture, but it does give us a chance to give our new job board a free plug!

Three years ago, at an American Copy Editors Society conference, CNN and other companies were eagerly recruiting print people for online work. A CNN staffer with a newspaper background told me they'd love to hire slot editors for positions that sounded much like these.
