Medical doctors are not 'other'
The article states, "M.D. programs teach a disease-specific approach to treating patients, termed 'allopathic medicine.'" My medical dictionary states that "allo" comes from the Greek meaning other. Since we medical doctors are the original, I object to being called "other." I have only heard that term used by osteopaths to distinguish M.D.s from D.O.s.
