Whatever the case, police were called to a residence in the 1600 block of N. Hydraulic Saturday night after a Wichita couple argued and the woman decided to throw fireworks at her man.

“The bed caught on fire. The man was not hurt,” said Lt. Doug Nolte, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

However, Wichita fire officials were also called to the scene and the fire was put out.

The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The 45-year-old woman was taken into custody and booked on charges of aggravated arson.
