They have festered for too long.''<p>******Why did the reporter (and, worse, the wire service) feel obliged to point out that Frist is a physician in this? Being a physician does not make him more qualified to diagnose or heal metaphorical festering wounds.<p>Take crap like this out.

	Again ... it's a good thing this person is white so the reporter didn't feel obligated to mention his ethnicity.
